MILITARY CONTRIBUTION TO PEACE SUPPORT (MC2PS) – TNA ANALYSIS PHASE WORKSHOP
NATO SFA COE representatives joined the SFA Training Needs
Analysis (TNA) Analysis phase Workshop (WS) connected to the Military
Contribution to Peace Support (MC2PS) NATO Discipline at Finnish Defence Forces
International Centre (FINCENT) from the 14th to the 16th of June 2022 in
Helsinki, FINLAND.
The purpose of the Analysis Phase is to generate clear and
precise Performance Objectives (POs). POs capture the intended outcome of NATO
Education & Individual Training (E&IT), and this is reflected through
on-job performances that are consistent with the Principal Duties for NCS/NFS
positions. The Analysis Phase results with the production of a Course Control
Document (CCD) which outlines a broad training strategy and the intent for a
proposed E&IT solution.
The workshop aims to set up a new NATO certified training
solution throughout the NATO Training Needs Analysis (TNA) process in order to
close identified gaps within the MC2PS NATO Discipline at Political/Military
NATO HQ level; the intent is to create a new Institutional Subject Matter
Expert on SFA and SP within high-level HQs.
This new solution will teach not only matters on SFA, but
also contents on Security Sector Reform (SSR) and Stability Policing (SP).
This event was also performed with the participation of the
representative of the Joint Centre for International Security Force Assistance
(JCISFA), Finnish Defence Forces International Centre (FINCENT) and NATO
Stability Policing COE (NATO SP COE).
