From the 12th to 21st of April, the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (NATO SFA COE) interviewed personnel belonging to the US Security Force Assistance Command and to the five SFA Brigades.

On the 15th and 16th of April the NATO SFA COE took part in the “Strategic changes in Security and International Relations" within the International "Strategic Conference STRATEGIES XXI" organised by the Romanian National Defence University.

On the period 13th-15th of April, the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (NATO SFA COE) had the opportunity to participate in a Research Wargame in the framework of a wider initiative - approved by the Military Committee – aimed at developing a NATO Intermediate Force Capability (IFC) Concept. 

According to the annual Bi-Strategic Command (BiSC) Programme of Work, the HQ SACT and the JALLC organized the virtual NATO Lessons Learned Conference 2021 from 16 to 18 March 2021:

From the 1st to the 9th of March 2021 the NATO SFA COE will hold the virtual “SFA Operators Course 2021-1”.

On the 16th and 17th of February, the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (NATO SFA COE) interviewed personnel belonging to the Albanian Armed Forces.

On the 15th of February the NATO SFA COE participated as observer in the MARSEC 21 Exercise Specification Conference, held virtually by the Maritime Security Centre of Excellence in Istanbul. 

On the 3rd February 2021 NATO SFA COE gave an online lecture on the Concept and Security Force Assistance activities to the Tunisian Joint War School in favour of Tunisian Officers and attendees from different countries of Africa.

On the 20th of January 2021, the NATO SFA COE Subject Matter Expert participated in the Resolute Support (RS) Training Event (TE) 21-1 by giving a virtual lesson introducing the Training Audience to key elements, concepts and thinking in relation to Functionally Based Security Force Assistance (FBSFA).

Subject Matters Experts (SMEs) from the NATO SFA COE Training and Education Branch joined the virtual 2020 EDUCATION AND INDIVIDUAL TRAINING (E&IT) EVENTS (& HUMAN · CAPITAL ENHANCEMENT), organized by HQ SACT-JFD.

According to the annual Bi-Strategic Command Lessons Learned battle rhythm, Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre organized the NATO Lessons Learned FALL WEEK Conference 2020.

The 5th Annual Discipline Conference of NATO Military Contribution to Peace Support .

The NATO SFA COE Legad and the E&T Branch participated  virtual Building Integrity Annual Discipline Conference.

The aim of this course is to illustrate how the Security Force Assistance Concept has been originated in NATO and how SFA is intended by the reference NATO publication, the Allied Joint Publication 3.16.

On October 2019 the NATO SFA COE hosted a Legal roundtable on “Rule of Law for SFA activities in Crisis Zones”.

On the 24of September 2019 the NATO SFA COE hosted a Workshop entirely dedicated to Lessons Learned.
