From the 26th to the 28th of October 2021 the NATO SFA COE
Education and Training Branch representatives joined the Individual Training and
Education Program Planning Board (IPB) organized by NATO – Allied Command
Transformation (ACT) and hosted at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational
Training Centre (NMIOTC) – Chania (Greece).
From the 14th to the 16th of September, the NATO
SFA COE joined the NATO Training Technology Conference (NTTC), organised in
hybrid mode, by the Supreme Allied Command Transformation (HQ SACT) and arrived
to the third annual iteration.
On the 30th of September 2021, NATO SFA COE will present its first publication on promoting the Rule of Law and Good Governance and how the main International Organisations are involved in supporting this initiative.
The NATO
Security Force Assistance (SFA) Centre of Excellence’s Director, Col. Massimo
DI PIETRO, is pleased to announce that “The SFA Advisors' Enhancement
Seminar” will take place from the 27th to 30th of September
2021 at the Italian Army Infantry School garrison.
NATO SFA COE joined the second annual meeting of the
Intelligence and Security related Centres of Excellence (COEs) organized by the Joint
Intelligence and Security Division of the NATO International Staff with the NATO Intelligence Enterprise (NIE).
On the 16th of June, the NATO SFA COE joined the Seminar
on EU-NATO training and education lessons identified and best practices
during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, organised by the European Security and Defence
College (ESDC) and the Allied Command Transformation (ACT).
On the 15th and 16th of April the NATO SFA COE took part in the
“Strategic changes in Security and International Relations" within the
International "Strategic Conference STRATEGIES XXI" organised by the
Romanian National Defence University.
On the period 13th-15th of April, the NATO Security Force
Assistance Centre of Excellence (NATO SFA COE) had the opportunity to participate in a Research Wargame in the framework of a wider initiative - approved by
the Military Committee – aimed at developing a NATO Intermediate Force
Capability (IFC) Concept.
On the 3rd February 2021 NATO SFA COE gave an online lecture on the Concept and Security Force Assistance activities to the Tunisian Joint War School in favour of Tunisian Officers and attendees from different countries of Africa.
